Hello! We are Dennis and Terry Swartzwelder of Triple Creek Log Homes, LLC, dealer representatives for the Original Lincoln Log Homes in North Carolina. We were both born and raised in a small coal-mining town in the mountains of western Pennsylvania. After college graduation, we moved to Maryland where we lived for more than three decades.
Howard County, Maryland between Baltimore and Washington D. C. was a wonderful community rich with incredible educational and cultural opportunities to raise our son Todd and daughter Katie. However, we knew that someday we would return to the mountains and possibly build a small log cabin retreat.
Overtime our log home goal changed and our desire to escape traffic congestion and the fast paced lifestyle of the Maryland/DC area grew. Our search began for land to build a log home as a primary residence instead. We found our land with an incredible view of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains in western North Carolina. After our recent retirements, we relocated to Haywood County, North Carolina.
After years of research on log home companies, we decided to build a Lincoln Log home. The quality and craftsmanship of a Lincoln Log home is exemplary. We enjoyed working with our Lincoln Log dealer representative and the staff at the headquarters in Chestertown, New York so much that we decided to become dealer representatives to help others build the log home of their dreams.
